I'll have to try out 303. Know anything that I can spray in my engine bay to keep water/dirt/mud from sticking and building up in the corners? When I bought it the engine bay looked brand new, now i'm seeing some rust form on pinch welds and in the corners, and I'm wondering what the previous owners sprayed on it.

I planned on buffing my truck once. Then I went on another wheeling trip and I was glad I didn't because then I'd feel the need to buff it again. Last week I had to drive through an ATV trail on our farm and got a massive pin stripe.....I didn't even care.

Moral of the story is - not buffing your truck makes life much less stressful.

    This.

Also @rdpoe I forgot to look at your pinch welds. Certain you are rubbing there tho, needs addressed with a BFH.

I’ll give it a good buff and wax this time but definitely plan on doing some goat armor to help out next time. I can’t not go wheeling, it’s to addicting and to much fun. If that means pin stripes than so be it. Maybe I’ll get it wrapped every couple years

For me, wheeling is 50% of the fun. The other 50% is camping with the boys. Where else would you see a friend offer another friend a sip of his $4 can of beer, and then said friend shotguns it. First said friend informs him of cost of said can of beer in question, to which alleged shotgunner stays he knows, laughs, about it, and slams the can on the ground.

You left out the part where first friend also mentioned it was the last can of one of his favorite beers, then picked the post-shotgun can up out of the fire ring to pour the remaining 2 ounces in his face

Firebug Recovery Track from Amazon, I think they are worth the $70. Real world use will confirm or deny.

    Completely subjective impression:
    • Seem sturdy
    • Pretty well finished
    • Once lug pointy bits wear down the large base will wear slower and still provide bite
    • They look EAF
    Objectives:
    • Mold release in center is sloppy
    • Color isn’t great match
    • 4.5” total height stacked
    • 42” long
    • Sturdy can = brittle, time will tell
    • Lugs are replaceable, and they come with 5x extra
    • 1 year warranty

Most people dont know what that is. It looks more like a poor seal at the injection point. I'm guessing those are injection molded. That would be very difficult to blow mold, and they're not hollow. Maybe poor temp at the hotrunner?
