Mine did the same thing after a little over a year. I'm really disappointed. I expected these lights to possibly leak (which they didn't) but then for this to happen is just crazy. I mean how expensive is it to use a better coating? I'm putting the stock housings back on and putting these into the "when I get around to it" project box. I've heard that mixing mineral spirits and Helmsman Spar Urethane @ 1:1 provides a good UV coating.

Just got a set of DTMoto on eBay. the day I bought them I put a coat of ceramic sealant on them, hopefully it will help...

    I put in a 5500K LED bulbs.

I've had my eye on these for a while but the more and more reviews I read, they don't last long before failing or the brightness is significantly lower than stock.

Same. I had these on my wish list for a while but ended up taking them off. It's a shame because I really like the look.

I haven’t run aftermarkets in my truck but after an experience with my ‘00 Mustang, I will never buy aftermarket headlights again. JUNK!

    UPDATE:

I've had these lights on my truck for a year and 7 months now I have not had any issues with them. They still work and look great and I have 55K 55 watt HID kit installed and there are zero issues with that kit as well. I'm not sure what has happened with people who've had issues with the lights but I love them and cannot complain one bit. Maybe I'm that 1 out of who knows how many that get an amazing quality set but like I said zero issues with mine.

Fingers crossed I've had no issues with mine after a year so far . I have a 55k HID kit but it's not installed yet so good to hear no issues there

So I'm reporting in with my headlights from tacomabeast. I have had water get in them somewhere just noticed it today. After taking them off they had a about a 1/4 inch of water in them. Don't know the process of taking the lens off and resealing them. Anyone had an idea on how to do that? But I have had them on for about a year and 20k miles. That is 20k rough miles. No chips or cracks just this leak. Driver side has held up fine. Would still say there good headlights just mine got a small leak somewhere.

Tried send pictures and I don't have enough service to do so without burning up my battery life on my phone. Will post some up tomorrow of what the water looks like

Anyone know how long the warranty is on them. I know they shouldn't leak after a year and I do really like the way they look on my truck. Just don't want to mess them up trying to fix them if I could just send it off and get a new one. And I've never messed with headlights

    bad reviews on tacomabeast

you would be looking at baking them in an oven, opening them, then applying the appropriate rubber gasket, then sealing back up.

I bought mine from protuning lab. One of my lights started leaking 1 month in....when I tried to warranty them I was told to go buy a tube of rtv sealant and fix them myself.....
-I pulled the lights, removed all the bulbs and poured out as much water as possible. I then propped a hair drier blowing into the big hole on the cool setting and left them for 30-40 mins.
-I used clear sealant and squeezed a bead out around the entire perimeter of the line where the lens meets the housing. I pushed it smooth with my finger making sure any little cracks got filled.
The next day I reinstalled the light, and it's been dry for 15 months. The sealant is not visible when the hose is closed, and not stand out noticable when you open the hood either.

I've got most of the water dried out. Just have to keep using a hair drier until the bottom corners dry out

There are some small rubber plugs you can remove, or maybe it was all the connections. Anyway removing these allowed the air to flow through better and remove the moist air faster.
