Just helped my dad get his new truck since he's not that great at English. There were missing features he wanted for his preferred color (silver), so those had to get added on. Does this look like a pretty good deal we got?

    2019 TRD Sport automatic - 4 door, 5' bed
    added on
-tech package (mirrors can't be redone so the blindspot monitors will be inside the car on the trim).
    -predator pro step bar
    -heated leather seats
-free lifetime oil change, car wash, + power train warranty

37,750 otd after ttl and plates, 0% APR 36 months

I just picked up a 2019 TRD OR 4x4 with tech and premium, truck exterior package, weather liners and some other small options.

    MSRP $42,962
$5350 off (including $750 customer cash)
    Total price $37,612

OTD with CA Tax, license etc
    $41,114

This is my first Tacoma or truck for that matter and I’m coming from a Prius! Looking forward to all the future mods and money I am going to spend on mods! :)

Huge congratulations to those of you getting $5,000-$6,000 discounts off MSRP.

I’ve never been that fortunate. Perhaps discounts are market driven. Tacoma buyers along the West Coast and Southwestern regions of the U.S. seem to be the biggest recipients of these deep discounts. Here in eastern NC, I haven’t been able to get more than a $3,000-$3,500 discount on the three 3rd Gen Tacomas I’ve purchased. Maybe I’ll get a better shake at it the next time.

So the Tacoma I’m looking at has been to three other dealerships before the current one where I visited. Car gurus says it’s been at its current dealership 54 days. Is that a bad sign? What could be wrong with it that no one wants to buy it?

After today’s stock market drop, I suspect deals will be out there for most cars and trucks. Key indicator 10 year treasury lower than a 2 year. This indicator history accurate regarding recessions

I got an Sr 19 double cab, 4x4,v6, auto, but it has a few features like auto high beams, front camera, and pre collision, running boards, and a full color dash screen, I seen some base out there with none of that on, makes me think someone order it with those add-ons and then backed out, to a different vehicle. I got it for 32k, but it had to be that one

This is just a good time of the year. They need to push the 19s out for the 20s. The longer you wait, I am sure the price will drop even more. However, there may not be many colors/options/trims available as they are trying to sell what they have left in stock. Someone here on TW said the 19 production date would end this week. The 20 production starts on the 2nd. Don't quote me on this though. With that being said, I bought mine which I thought I got hella da deal for the stuff I wanted.

All of those features (minus the running boards) are standard on all 2019 Tacoma’s.

Dealership salesperson that I've been going back and forth with just sent me an email asking when I was planning on purchasing a new Tacoma, my response, "before the next recession which appears to be imminent". No follow-up yet! :D

Paid Down. I've been saving for months. Working 72 hours a week helped some too.
