I thought of this thread when my wife sent this photo to me ... :hungry:

While I am in the US now doing paperwork ... I get this pic from my wife this week.

My daughter took my wife out for Mother's Day lunch/dinner in Thailand. We live in Chiang Rai, Thailand and this was maybe 30 minute drive from the house.

Cost for the dinner menu with drinks and desserts for 2 with tip .... and outside dining with a super view ... was about $7.00 USD ...

    .....

...^^^... Real Thai restaurant with real Thai food ... :hungry:

    .......

    IMG_4136.jpg
...^^^... Photo of my daughter using her big Thai spoon and fork (normal way most Thai's eat when not using chop-sticks).

I love me some sausage and gravy. Never thought about using chorizo.

I wonder what andouille would taste like in gravy?

I love pizza; a hammer looks at everything in the world and says "I can make that a nail" I look at everything and say "I can make that a pizza"... But I am even more passionate about gravy and biscuits than pizza....

Tldr please try it and let us know

oh man I can destroy a pizza, IF its really good. Last 2 yrs in a row The local Casino lets 4 or 5 American Legion members ride on their float during a parade here. They supply free pizza/water so I eat my fair share. Its not the best but its free....

I think my passion for gravy and biscuits is the best indicator that I was indeed born in the South. My wife doesn't think so, but Missouri was a slave state in the Civil War, so it counts in my head. :notsure:

I was born in the Midwest but my grams was a born and raised southerner. She taught me how to do biscuits and gravy. One year she told me my gravy surpassed hers. :)
