    Uninsured woman rear ended it, it’s really minimal damage — just some of trunk unibody is pushed in. The repair estimate was something like $3,300.

    Oh you’re kidding me now. That Toyota parts guy didn’t know what he was talking about. I spent hours restoring the lens in the 5-Lug. I had to wetsand, polish, etc etc etc

    Oh I didn’t let them repair it. I’m just going to take it to a frame shop. Shouldn’t be more than a few hundred bucks and it’s far less shady than using a tree.

    You were right the painted body panels pushed it over the limit.

    i polish my cluster lenses with plastic polish, which is what comes in the headlight kits.
    deep scratches replacements the only fix. light swirls will vanish with polish
