Wanna buy a Harley

Oooo you're right on the line of 883 or something larger. Straight forward a cruiser is not going to perform or be as fast or quick as your prior bikes.

 

Yeah, I did some stunt riding. But I’m old now. Just looking to cruise

 

I love mine, but sadly that 883 won't stay. They're boring unless the rider is one of those ride a Harley 10 under the speed limit types.

 

And the added benefit is the cops will leave me alone. Here in NYC there’s a bad blood between cops and street bikes

 

Yeah I can't imagine riding in that large of a metro area to be honest. You sir have balls bigger than your bike.

 

It’s not as bad depending on the time of day. I used to ride late night mostly. Still traffic, but I was young and dumb, would white line most of the time anyway.

 

Haha shit man living in the edge. I have 0 interest riding an interstate out here let alone deal with that. I'm not as worried about my riding as much as other people's driving or just walking out into traffic thinking " I have the right of way" and not thinking a vehicle going 35 into a green light can stop as quick as they expect it to. Pretty sure drivers out here are just don't pay attention. Anyone from the PNW chime in ?

 

My accident on my 750 was out here. 83 year old guy ran a stop sign, my bike went right into his door at around 35 mph

Woulda been. I dumped the bike low and managed to not go over his car. My helmet made the first impact

The 48 is sweet.more of a cruiser sportster I would say. Not sure if you want brand new but the softail slims are nice. Thats what my new one is.

 

Agreed just left the Seattle area. I think most people are just hopped up on espresso.

 

If you're handy and do get tired of the 883, its easy to convert an 883 to a 1200.

I like how the 48 is the same weight. But I really like how they blacked out everything on the 883. The 48 has a lot of chrome I don't like.
