    Same crap everyone else got
The wheels that truck has aren't the fn fx pro's. They are the ebay wheels. The fn fx pro's aren't on the site. You have to contact Dustin (owns fn wheels) directly if you want a set. I picked them over the trd pro wheels b/c they came 8in wide. trd pro's only come 7in wide. The ebay knock off's come 8in though but they aren't FN's and they aren't Toyota's so no idea who imports them.

These are the faux wheels that white 3rd gen had in JB's pic.

I haven't had any issues so far. It did start to leak for the first time in 3-4 years so I just added some more RTV to it. But the truck now sits in the garage so I haven't tested it yet but will this weekend when I wash it for the first time in forever :anonymous:

Make sure you get the lightbar cut out or you'll have to do what I do which is make one yourself.....

Also I was thinking about getting a new daily so I could work on my current daily so was thinking a 2wd 80s mini truck because they're badass. But then my mom came up and said she'd sell me back the 92 4Runner she has (my first vehicle). Thinking next year I may take her up on it

Basically just like this, wouldn't do much besides fix it up and swap the 3.4L into it. Just a camping rig/daily

    Get out.

5100s with OME 885 springs and a Dakar leaf pack. Will be rugged and comfortable. The best of both worlds.

No recommendation on wheels here, but I would think 285s are going to rub no matter what...at least I've never heard of a no rub 285. The BFG KO2 is a GREAT tire, but as other said is heavy. I'd look at another AT and avoid E load ratings.

I mean, I was of the same opinion for a long time too because well, TW. I have the 5100’s, headstrong coils, and AAL on the Tacoma, and I love it. HOWEVER, the previous owner of my F-150 put a spacer leveling kit on it, and I honestly haven’t had any reason to remove it. Now whenever the shocks wear out I’ll probably do a “real” lift, but with 90% of the time spent on the highway it’s just not a priority right now.

She gets people asking her all the time if she wants to sell it. She says no, so I doubt it'll be different here. Plus when I got the tacoma I basically gave it to her so I've got first dibs on the runner :p

So I did a quick FB marketplace & CL search for 2nd gen 4Runners and they're priced all between $1.5-3k but are all automatic and 2wd. I must have a gem as it's a 5spd, 4wd with auto hubs

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
That you do. The only thing that would have made that more rare, is if it were the Surf addition.

They are priced so low b/c they all have alot of miles on a 3.0 that probably has warped heads already. I've owned a 92 and a 95. Both were 4wd auto's. If I were to ever get another 2nd gen, a 3.4 would be a must.
Both mine were auto hubs also, but my 88 had manual warn hubs. I kinda miss the old manual hubs. They were a pain in the ass some times to get out and lock but they made you feel a little more manly haha.

Yeah mine has 225k or something close to that so that's why I'm going to swap it. Then it'll just need a refresh on a few other things and be good to go.

Wouldn't mind manual hubs but I'm not gonna mess with anything since it's all still there. Just hope my mom agrees to it haha

On another note. I just pulled the trigger on some BudBuilt rock crawler skids. Stage 2 in stainless steel! I will have these before our trip in Choccolocco.
