I don't know a god damned thing about computers, so I'm going to offer my opinion.

When I moved back a few years ago and had to buy my work laptop I wanted a Lenovo but couldn't justify the price. The SSD is definitely the better of the two HD options and I probably should've gotten one since my computer is always bouncing around in my work truck, I'm using the tracks of heavy equipment as a work surface, etc. I'm as hard on it as I am anything else.

That said, what I bought was an HP Pavilion x360 convertible. You can flip the screen all the way back and use it as a tablet. (Which for me is super convenient for looking at "blueprints" (as you normies call them). It's got 8gb RAM and runs on the Intel i5 processor. I currently have 7.88gb of RAM available and have never felt like my computer was slow. And I have a literal fuck ton of blueprints saved directly on the machine. Also memes. So many fucking memes.

TL;DR. I like my computer but am probably too stupid to know any better if it sucks.

Greenbrier Valley Brewing Company. They're in Lewisburg, WV. Great beers. Some of my favorite beers coming out of WV.

I'd like to say @Truggin has a big ass garage the cat could overtake. That could be his cat house!

Thanks for all the input guys.

So I went over to my parents to help them move some furniture last night and my Dad let me borrow his Lenovo Yoga. It's got 4GB RAM and a 128GB SSD. I will try it out and see how it does for me. I don't need to do anything terribly complex. If it works for me, he said he would sell it to me for 40% of FMV. Yes, my Dad is that specific. I feel like my cheapness will make it work for me. I wanted to have 8GB RAM but we will see how this does. I don't plan to store a lot of docs on it, so we will see...

Also, I will be at Solace Saturday for their Oyster Fest. Just wanted to drop a plug for my buddy's brewery and a fun event. If anyone else wants to go, let me know!

Try Peter’s Mill Run. It is not difficult but offers an introduction to off road experiences. Take 66 to 81 south, exit at Edinburg, left at end of ramp, left into Shell after underpass, get permit, left to exit Shell, left on 11, rt on 675, right at parking area for OR/ATV trails, air down, cross 675 to enter PMR. At end right to descend to Fort Valley rd, left at tee, rt on 55, left on 340, rt onto 66.

I don't work or live in McLean, but I would be willing to pick them up for you. Only problem is I couldn't make it happen at 2:30 on a weekday. If they could meet in the evening during the week or in the morning on a weekend I am happy to help.

So I noticed your exhaust doesn't appear to have a heat shield near the spare...just another production anomaly

I've enjoyed them, they were GREAT yesterday driving up I64 in a major downpour/minor road pooling/flooding. I had them rotated @5k, no balancing issues, the DT crew didn't complain, just had a bit of extra work syncing in and out the 5th tpms, and getting the rotated tire up into the OEM spare location (haven't bent the tabs and chopped exhaust...damn baby to-do lists!!!).

I took them out to Flagpole Knob last weekend, it was dry most all week leading up to the trail outing. Didn't notice any issues, but that's not a fair shake on their off-road performance.

Running them at ~36psi (once driving for 15-25mins on interstate in AM, but they're around 32psi cold in the AM), but have not chalk tested...again wear pattern at rotation didn't cause concern both with DT crew and my nonprofessional-know-nothing automotive background seemed the wear seemed uniform.

Do you use them to keep critters away? Pretty sure this cat would swipe at a bear just to be an asshole.
