The lower panel is a large piece that is the entire lower section and requires disassembly of most of the dash to get it in. You might want to looks at @MESO 's stuff:
    https://mesocustoms.com/collections/all/products/tacoma-lower-switch-panel

I installed my LSP7 only pulling the upper trim and HVAC panel out.

Give @MESO a ping. He might be able to tell when a run is coming up?

The standard lower panel on Premium+Tech packages has room for 6 switches (one of which is the rear window) and the 12V. So might be able to fit another even and still be OEM.

The 7 switch Meso one is cool in that you get an extra switch, but you have to do some cutting/hacking to get it to fit which I'm not fond of.

That is why I wanted the factory trim not the meso panel.

This is for '18s (or '19s) and on, '17 and '16 have the rear window on the left hand switch panel.

That's interesting. My 2019 is my first so I didn't know that. Since they are nearly identical, I'd imagine you can still mount the newer panel even on the older trucks? They still pop in the same way?

I'd think so, but comparing part numbers is probably the best way to know for sure. Mine has 5 slots and the 12v: BSM, blank, parking sensor, usb/mic, Qi. My blank space is soon to be filled with a 2 LO switch. :muscleflexing:

Yeah I have Prem+Tech so mine would be full too, but since I have the MT there is only a blank instead of ECT. That's where my 2Lo switch will be going as well!

Do you know if the window switch hole can be modified to fit a regular switch?

I'm not sure on that. I know it has the rounded edge so you can get a finger in there to use the window switch, but I'm not sure if the actual dimensions and/or connectors are different on that one. @MESO would probably know since he would have had to scan it in when he was creating his custom panels.

Looks like I will have to trim the switch down to fit in the notches for the window switch opening but other than that it should work.

55434-047080-CO has 5 regular switches, 1 rear window switch, and 12v outlet

    55434-04060-CO has 3 switches and 12v outlet

There is a 3rd one which has just 5 switches and 12v outlet but I didn’t get it they ordered it for Monday but I wanted the one with 5 switches and the window switch so I canceled it

Rear window switch wasn’t available on the 2016 Tacoma. I have yet to open the rear window on my 2016.
