Need more info about your living situation. House, no garage, no outdoor storage, but has basement, correct? Where is the yard equipment stored? I'd put up a plastic lean-to shed and store it there.

I had planned to build a shed, but water damage to the house had to be repaired $2k + money for rebuilding the deck that had to be demolished to repair damage.... this took away any budget for a garage, or shed I had.. my tractors, and snowblower are under tarps out back.. been looking into building a shed soon... I want to put my toolbox (72" 19 drawer rollcabs.com box with top hutch), compressor, tools, tractor, and snowblower in it.. eventually I'll be building a garage (looking at a 24x32' with 10ft ceilings, double doors on the 24" side, with stairs to a storage loft.)..

Is your work cool at all? Sometimes I've stored shit for a month or two at the company warehouse until I could get the home storage built.

It sure is. And no, I really haven't had much time this past month, which sucks cause the weathers been soo nice the past couple of weeks :(

Got a few ideas for trips throughout the fall though. Looking forward to getting out again, Ill have to keep you in the loop too

You could always build something similar to what I made for my cap & platform storage setup. The cap sets on top of the rack, and the sleeping platform & drawers slide into the lower section. I wrapped it with a tarp last winter and didn't have any problems with critters, but I'm planning on sheathing where the platform sits with plywood this fall for extra protection.

Obviously you wouldn't need anything that large for just storing an RTT, but the concept would be similar.

Build a plywood box and wrap a tarp around it and call it a day. Not as expensive as a shed but it will protect it just as well.
