    Yep. Right by Alta HS.

Like I said, you could see a bike tire through the cracks in the blinds and given how bad SLC bike theft is lately, I think that was the catalyst.

Shit. That sucks man. I keep a hockey team flag up over the window and you can barely see into the garage. I don't leave anything out and anything of "value" is against the wall that the window is on. Everything else is behind another door under a lock and key.

Owning a home increases your BP I swear.

Crazy to think break-ins are happening in Sandy. Used to hear about an isolated case every once in a while but not like it is today.

This 1000%. But in way different ways than I expected. Like when your sprinkler manifold bursts and dumps 100 gal of water in your backyard before you can run to the front and shut it off.

Yeah, I replaced this shitty old blanket the last owners had with a set of blinds to tidy it up. I think I should go get the wood slat kind so they fold down tight to each other and you cant see in.

Or display this flag in the window

Be truthful. You cleared your house and garage like a 1 man SF team, didn't you?

Nope. I lurked at the top of my stairs. People get got in close quarters all the time, let alone solo. Better option is to hunker down in a defensible position and wait, esp if you have the high ground (top of stairs). Stop, look and listen, then after there is no sign of ingress, you methodically search. If you are reacting to someone kicking in your door, they already have surprise and violence of action on their side and you are on the back foot.

Now if I had either of my former Marine/DS homies with me last night, it woulda been goin down quick. Then again, its pretty hard to claim self defense when the carpet is still smoldering from a flashbang and theres a house full of jocked up goons with verbatim stories.

Also, people forget this all the time: If you grab a gun/bat/etc to investigate a bump in the night; you best have a plan for if you find something.

Found a old Wilton bench vise for sale on Ebay. Seller was basically giving the thing away for the price they wanted. They don't make them like this anymore. Just couldn't bring myself to buy a made in china vise from Lowes that cost more than this thing.

Chase bar has been re-mounted and re-wired. Had a friend of mine weld up the bracket structure, then I redid the hardware and installed it last night. Had to replace a corroded terminal too.

After next race 2 weekends from now, I'll be giving another call to Switchpro and see if they will warranty my 8100. Been having all sorts of issues with it lately.

@Coot83 get on my level :D

I have 2 10" bars to install where this is on yours. One for a kitchen light, facing down, and one for tailgaters (when i do 50 in the left lane), facing back

Im going to weld in some brackets soon

The glory of this setup is I can flip the reds/ambers on and basically brake check someone without touching the pedal. And if it escalates, I can set the white light section to strobe. Bright AF in the dark.

My spod lets me strobe any light. So I could have party mode on my ditch lights
