Do you have a shroud with that profile lens?

There’s no room to fit a shroud.

For those that have done this themselves or thinking about doing this soon or in the future I just thought I'd share a little bit of info I've found while I've been doing this. Everything went smooth for me, but I kept getting stumped as to how I could keep the rear of the headlight (back of the rx350 projector) water tight since the OEM seal wasn't working to well for me. After taking some measurements and a trip to Home Depot I found a great solution. I purchased a couple of Fernco 2 inch Quick Caps found in the plumbing department. When I got home I traced the face of the d2s connector onto the end of the rubber cap and cut out the circle with an exacto knife. This is the final product. Super tight fit on the back of the headlight housing and water tight fit around the d2s connector.

So I can't tell from your picture and I don't have my lights torn apart yet (still waiting on a couple things) do I need to remove the high beam reflector bowl for the profile led to sit in there?

That's just black plasti dip. It wont stick to the gel but sticks to the back nicely which holds it in place. I also found out later that some halos can have a section cut out and still work fine.

I was going to do that or Baja designs squadron pros.

Do the extra highs help that much or are they about even with the 350s?

No the hi lens uses the existing bulb hole as a mount.

They help, Haven’t sent the squadrons so I don’t know if they fit. Prolly have to come up with a mounting solution. The Hi-Lens you can just drop right in no problem.

    COOL Stuff I can't afford . . . But I bought anyway!
Is it absolutely necessary to use the non-afs version of the rx-350 projector, or can an OEM projector be used for the mod?

No, you can use the AFS version but it will require minor cutting with a Dremel to fit. Quite a few people have used the AFS version.

Need some assistance on confirming this order, just want to make sure that I am not leaving anything out?
    I already have purchased:
    • D/D DRL switchback
    • 80 MM Amber/White Switchback Halo with drivers
    • Retro Rubber
    • Krylon Fusion Matte Black

^you don't need the last thing on your list. That is a complete kit with projectors. All you need is ballasts w/D2S igniters and a pair of D2S bulbs.

Here's a question: where in the heck do y'all put all the drivers with these LED bits?

Good question. Wherever you can. I just have them zip tied in the wire harness. Soon I will have 2 igniters and 3 drivers per side so it will be interesting.

The kit will come with everything you need. Just select the D2S kit.
