When I did my test drive, somehow I didn’t hit my head on the head liner and I’m 6-3 also. Got it home and noticed the problem on the drive home. After signing the papers it was oh well lesson learned but may see if the new 2020 seats fix the issue and have dealer swap seats.

Love to see that but at this point they don't even make a pro in long bed format.

I would be dumb enough to buy a pro DCLB 6mt if that was the only configuration they came in

Slim pickens in the MT department. Should be happy they have that option even with all the features sacrificed because of it.

At this point, I would settle just for pricing and OR color options.

There really aren't too many features you miss out on by having the MT. The craw control and such kind of require the AT to do their thing, so no surprise that it isn't available on the MTs. I do miss the keyless entry and start though and I know they can do it because they have it on their MT 86. I'm most thankful though that you can get all the upgrades in the Premium and Tech packages and still get the MT. Most manufacturers that offer the MT will only give it to you on their base package vehicles so you miss out on the bells and whistles. Thank Toyota that they don't do that and end up only offering the MT with the 4 cylinder SR or something.

That being said, I'd be standing in line waiting to get the DCLB if they made it available with the MT!

Just got back from talking with a friend of mine at a Toyota dealership. He said that they should be getting legit pricing either by the end of this month or early next month. He said it won't be a huge hike in price, but obviously there will be one with the upgrades. They didn't have many 19's left on their lot either, but if push came to shove and I wanted a 19,they could find one that I wanted. They are seriously trying to move those bad boys before the 20's come lol

Yeah I think I read somewhere that the clutch cancel button on the MT Tacoma's interfere with the push button start aspect. Only one that I'm not sure why they don't do is the lack of JBL on the manual trims on any level. But, I agree that manuals now are one of the extreme of the most basic or high end car offerings.

If that 4Runner came with a manual it would be hard to say no to....

Considering DCLBs have trash breakover angles, it really doesnt make sense to have a TRDPRO in a long bed. Whole point of a TRD pro is to be offroad capable, and a long bed basically ruins that no matter how good the rest of the components are. It would probably be embarrasing for Toyota to make a TRDPRO in LB because all the major publications are gonna make fun of it for dragging its belly everywhere.

Which is sitting on 35s and still dragging its belly everywhere lol. also its a little different because you can slap 37s on it easy and on a taco you basically have to sawzawl your entire front end for that

Pretty sure factory setup is more like 33's or 31's. It'll fit 35's without much effort.

But anyway...Bigger tires don't help THAT much with breakover.

Also, I'm pretty sure that even a DCLB would still be a foot shorter, wheelbase-wise, than a Gladiator. Those things are f'n trains.
