I want 4 inches of lift and I know the simple route is rough country but those are cuss words on this page I see so can somebody tell me what else I need of better quality but around the same price? Basically what I need to tell my shop when I go in to order everything I want done.

That's a bit of a tough ask. If you're willing to put a bit more in, you can grab a Bilstein kit that'll give you roughly what you'd want

It also depends on what you want and how you're going to use it. If you have no intention of offroading or aren't doing anything crazy, RC kit will probably suit you just fine if you just want the lift. If you want something more useful, it's going to come down to a get-what-you-pay-for argument. Just my .02

Yeah I want a quality lift, i don’t really do off-roading at all at the moment but I might later down the road but that’s unsure. But I just don’t want to buy a rough country and later on have nightmare issues with alignment and stress on axles and what not

Cheap lift steals from droop, it doesn't magically add to overall travel. A 4" lift means a front tire could become airborne instead of stuck to the road. Plus you'll never see another spec alignment.

Grab a set of Bilstein 5100s with 5160s in the rear. You can AAL if you want too. That'll give you more like 2-3 inches but will be superior to RC lift in quality for about the same price. If you want better fronts, go for the 6100s or 8112s. I'm running the 6100/5160 kit myself and am quite happy with it for the majority of what I do.

The real question is why do you need 4” over 2-3”?

I would start by deciding what size tire you want to run and then getting the minimum amount of lift to make those tires fit. No sense putting on a 4'' lift that will mess up your driveline angles if a 2 or 3 inch lift would suffice.

    Just my 2 cents.

I just picked up a BDS 6" Kit with Fox 2.5 front and 2.0s in the back. Going to replace the leafs in the back and toss the blocks the kit comes with (also tossing the front spacer). Check BDS I believe they have a 4" Kit also. I guess a Drop Bracket is all the same, but the BDS parts look quality over the Rough Country. I would look into BDS, if moneys tight I believe the ProComp Kit is better then the RC Kit. Just what I have learned myself, I haven't installed the kit yet.... Waiting for rims. Good luck on here, all the 2-3" purists are going to act like they are Baha Pros, and have never driven there truck to the local mall. If your interested I can send you pics of the Kit PM me.
