Ordered from www.TRDParts4U.com and the installation at my local dealership is $250.

My all black SE should look nifty with some new 'night eyes'...

    New genuine Toyota accessory:

Well the box from TRDParts4U.com was in my hands Tues afternoon (it shipped Mon from Dallas).

Dropped my FJ off at the dealership at 9:30 AM and I just checked on it and the headliner is dropped and the dash is exploded all over the inside of truck.

There is a fresh hole in the roof of my FJ where the cables for the lights will be fed thru.

All and all, i am SO glad i didnt try to do this my self... it will be well worth the $250 for the install.

I would hav ordered my light/air dam kit from the dealership but they wanted to charge me $900 (no price matching, no nothing!!! The MSRP is $699 and I ordered it from Toyota of Dallas's website for $575 + $25 shipping.

I hate my local dealerships for trying to rape customers on things like this!

Ok, next time I get stuck on the side of a mountain, in a mud pit, under some rocks, with no way out - I am calling you!

That thing looks awesome! :D

While the FJ isn't a large truck, there is more room in the back seat then in a Taco extended cab. My wife and i regularly haul our two tall teens back there on 1000 mile/14 hr trips from the ArkLaTex to Albuquerque NM and back.

It's a little tight back there but they manage to survive the trek.

Yep. My wife was born and raised there. I was only there long enough to get her and get out.

TTORA had their trail takeover for 2007 in Farmington this month. They have some impressive pictures over there.

I actually like Albuquerque. There is actually a bunch to do there.

Ok, so you are my new idol. :) All I ever did out there was hiking. I worked at a ski resort in Colorado during College, but never learned to snowboard. The wife and I are planning to go in January for my birthday.

good luck snowboarding. I use to do it when i was younger. when i was 18-20 i loved it. everytime i fell i would bounce right back up again like a rubberband. you couldn't keep me down. I'm 25 and i went this last winter. now when i fall i stay down for a while.... a long while. i just lay there wondering what happened to my once energetic body and ask myself why i'm abusing all my joints and muscles and bones when i could be in the nice warm lodge drinking beer and hitting on snowbunnies....

Now that all the kids are back in school (and it is still hot outside), I am thinking about hitting that place up. Thanks for the info.

dont get me wrong, its alot of fun and worth trying but the first day will probably be miserable. Snowboarding really takes its toll on your knees more than anything else. You're never too old to try something new, and if you're in really good shape you might just be ok. I'm in ok shape at the moment and i was struggling bad last time, and i had been multiple times before. Although i think part of it was that my board was about 4 inches too short and needed to be about 3 inches wider, i had to borrow a friends.... who is much shorter and lighter than me. Just remember..... it's all in the hips
