I have this issue too, and I regularly use the bed, the spiders are hiding somewhere good because they build the same webs again once I get to the cottage and unload. And that’s after a 45min rip at highway speeds. It was an issue with my 4runners side mirrors, too. I used to go outside at 2 in the morning when the spiders where out so I could squish them so I had clean mirrors for a day or two. I don’t even care about the webs, I care that they shit alllll over the place.

No one has suggested trading it in or lighting it on fire? Look at TW, all mature and whatnot.

My wife is arachnophobic so I buy ‘Spider Ban’ spray from the hardware store. Works like a charm.

it isn't infested with snakes... in that case, I will need napalm, an old priest and a young priest, and a diet coke.

Spider season is during the hottest time of year in August/September. That is the time of year we get a lot of banana spiders which spin huge webs overnight and can be the size of your hand (seriously). Get a spray bottle of Bifenthrin (which is the ingredient in trade name Telstar) liquid, mix and spray after you wash your truck and after a rain. Doesn’t stink, bother pets or people, and has a long residual so it will last a while. I use it on the eaves of my house and porch because if I didn’t my wife would never go outside. Works well for many other types of insects... ants, fleas, ticks, beetles, Kant’s, roaches, etc.

I buy it at Tractor Supply usually in 7% concentrate which mixes A LOT of spray.
