Same here on the E46 M3. Best of the bunch, IMHO, but I would hoon an E30 in a heartbeat. It wouldn't make a reliable commuter though.

When we were looking for our daughter, a friend kept pushing another friend's E46 328i convertible with hardtop ($4,200). It is an AT, but I am okay with that for her. We might have bought it, but there was no loan possibility (180k). Also, he only had it a few months and dropped a bunch of money into it. Way to much risk.

We ended up with a well cared for Mazda 3 hatch. She did say that she would learn to drive an MT for Jeep. We'll see what happens down the road.

nice. honestly when my kids start driving i'm gonna have a hard time with it. pins & needles just talking about it.

i learned to drive on two cars: a Buick LeSabre Diesel wagon, this one (UGH!):
    58e2ad6440f0c_IMG_0293-4-940x668.jpg

and a 1983 E30 318i. to this day, the most memorable vehicle i've driven. a balance of perfection with the chassis and steering... never driven another vehicle like it, not even close. at the same time that thing had a 0-60 something like "maybe" and the brakes were the spongiest crap on the road. but my gawd that handling.

I had a healthy lust for the 318i, esp the hatch. Just the classic BMW.

I don't know if that LaSabre was better or worse, but my choices were the 1986 Celebrity coupe or the 1983 Malibu sedan. I liked the Celebrity more, but it was awful. I did beat the fuck out of both. I once tried to time a 0-60 in the Malibu and just gave up on a downhill on ramp. At least your wagon was handy on the weekends. :drunk:

Pretty sure I could post mine on here and have it sold in a week. A 2017 TRD OR MT won't take long to disappear.

    Wait... That's me :bananadead:

I replaced my 2010 Sport AT because I was dying of boredom when driving it. Mind me, I usually drive when I feel like it, not when I need to, I don't drive to work.

I was looking at 2012-2015 MTs at first, but then settled on a Pro because I wanted the rear diff locker and double cab config. Since we don't have DBSB Offroad in Canada, didn't really have the choice but to get the wallet out :spending:

Yep. GM lovin' parents. They got rid of the Cutlass Calias with the V8 for no good reason before I started driving.

I just laughed at the dodge salesman who told me I would have a hard time selling my MT Pro in a few years, that for same price I paid I could've got a brand new 2019 RAM with a lot more options and have better resale value. Yeah right lol

Man been gone from this forum for a bit, what have I missed in the last two months. Any new tune? I've been gone since before the FOB version got released. My computer took a crap on me and I just recently bought a new windows laptop. I can't even remember where I got all the old tuning programs from. This is going to be a pain to try and get setup again on a new laptop. :annoyed:
