Nope no cutting. Not sure what would need to be cut for the UCA. Fenders, you’ll probably CMC and flare trimming because of the offset. But that’s the name of the game with 285s/33s

Will post pics soon, I am currently in the process of painting the complete Ball Joint plate and bolts a matching red. Then will be using Eastwood 2k Clear Epoxy on the whole arm. Pics will be soon.

Only thing I gotta do is use a little acetone to take the red off of the boot.

My biggest question is can it come in anything but red? Interested in some other first gen experiences with these.

I just bought some, and have yet to install, but the red doesn't do anything for me either so I'm just gonna paint em before install. Thinking I'll try steaming the decals off and stick em on some wax paper until they're ready to go back on. If it works, cool, if not, no worries.

I'll be the first to admit that I did not read the entire thread but I did read a good chunk of it. Do the JBA control arms give more clearance between the ball joint and the coil spring compared to the SPC adjustable arms? The way that my SPC arms are adjusted gives me more room between the tire and the cab mount but the ball joint boot is only about an inch from the coil. I'm curious if anyone has gone from the SPC arms set on E position to the JBA and if so, how much clearance did they lose behind the tire and how much was gained at the coil spring? I need to get a new alignment and I'm thinking about possibly switching UCA at the same time.

I emailed them 2-3x and haven't even gotten a response in 4 weeks. Any trick to contacting JBA? I used the sales@JBAoffroad.com address.

    Did you ever hear back?

Yeah man I did. Check your spam folder, sometimes it goes there. He basically said to purchase new ball joints then send them a request for a refund. Once you get the new ones, put your old ones in the box the new ones came in and print out the pre-paid postage and ship the old ones back. Once they get them, they'll credit your account.

Hmmm... I’ve checked my spam too. I’ll try again with a new email, different subject, and hope that it’s just a matter of one of our spam filters kicking it out.

Well I emailed JBA again, new email, no pictures, different subject, it apparently went through because he responded in like an hour.
I’m all set now. Thanks guys!

I’m guessing that the large pictures sent from my phone, no as attachments, caused their spam filter to kick it out.

    Howdy guys,

Im considering getting a set of these when I upgrade my suspension. My question is, theres some uniball UCAs that need to have the joint that need replacing every few thousand miles. Thats a no go for me. Are these able to just keep going like my stock ones? Or will my performance actually end up being hindered because every month I have to take my truck to the shop to put some new joints on there?

Edited because not ball joints, uniballs
