Tacoma - OVTUNE - VFTUNER - Update Info and Original Development

I would like to recommend the pedal push to go from 6th to 5th be a little shorter.

 

I'm going to wait for a few hundred miles before I say my piece, but that thought was going through my head when I got out on the highway last night. It really does take a few tanks of gas for the tunes to shine.

 

I admit, it's awesome to know I can take a trip and not have to reflash if I cant get the higher octane. I looking forward to seeing ETC back with D but have started putting some miles on this morning.

 

Me too, almost have to bury it.

Ya by the time it shifted I was almost at the floor.

So many good reviews! To bad I forget what version my ECM is. Gonna check and fingers crossed I can flash.

 

I’m having the same issue. 3/4 throttle and it will downshift from 6th right to frikin 3rd! I don’t like how it drives on the highway on 2.0. Went back to 1.05 base which has the same issue but not as bad with ECT.

 

How many miles do you have on the tune? I beta tested the first 2.0 and it was worse for the first 1/2 tank of gas then it really began to shine, even using CC on the highway.

Put a ton of miles on it today. Everything is great with the exception of the 3-4 quick shift. And the 6-5 pedal to floor.

Lots of good to outweigh the bad, glad I’m part of the testing this time around. I decided to keep my 5.29 appointment next month despite how good it feels, hoping it’ll feel even better with the gears and 5.29 specific tune.

Am here. Flashed from A60 to A61, then 2.0. 93 octane. But only 1/4 tank into it so far.

 

I'm 04A61 it will shift to 5th for me, and to 4th if I push it to the floor.

 

same here on ob04...going up hill have to mash pedal for downshift , as speed is declining going up hill. ....only have a few miles on the 2.0 reflash from yesterday though
