I put on hood struts, but the consensus was I needed to prove that I had done the compartment lights. Here you are: proof.

How hard are the hood struts? I've almost slammed my hand a few to many times now. Every other car has them!

Super easy. Get them ASAP. Installed mine in 30 minutes. Then you’ll say “why did I wait so long”

You'll love hood struts every time you open your hood, no matter how rarely. In fact, after you put them in, you'll find yourself opening the hood "just because" :).

Yesterday I was testing out some new hood struts in my taco, and had to open and close the hood a few times the old-fashioned way - I have to say, I got so used to having the struts do all the work that I forgot what it's like to wrestle the hood that way. Struts are wonderful, that's why (almost) every car and truck (except of course the tacos) now comes with them, no matter how rarely you'd be opening the hood on them.

We probably didn't have the kit for 2nd Gens yet, it's fairly recent. But once you see high-lift, it's hard to go back to stock height:

We had a relatively small production run when we first expanded to 2nd Gen's (mostly been focused on 4Runners before), and the demand exceeded our expectations and wiped out our inventory. We now have a couple hundred strut sets coming from our supplier in the next few weeks. Will definitely let you know when they're in.

I'm definitely open to a group buy, just need to be clear that the struts may only get here in 4-6 weeks. But if you want to start gathering orders for the group buy with those conditions, let me know and I can work out some type of an incentive.
