For you guys running 265/75/16 Duratracs with a C rating. What tire pressure do you recommend?

I've run as little as 32 (street) and as high as 48. I like 35-37.

    Workin' on it....
    ^^^ Agree with these guys.

36-37 gets me the best gas mileage on-road.

2019 Pro ... I just put those exact tires on last week. 37 front, 34 rears. Lower than 37 I had some loud road noise. At 37/34, no road noise. I was at 18.5 mph all around with stock pro kevlars, and now after a weekend with the Duratracs, 17.8 mpg. I'll be keeping mine at 37f/34r until I notice any wear issues.

@Colnajoe, it's been a few months since your post and I'm wondering if you've noticed any wear issues with the tire pressure configuration you mentioned? I just put a set of the LT265/75R-16s Duratracs on a few weeks back and have been experimenting with various tire pressures. I've found 37 PSI in all 4 tires (I tow a utility trailer and boat a fair bit so I run all 4 tires at the same pressure) to be ideal in terms of handling, road noise, quality-of-ride and fuel economy.

After doing the chalk test, I'd found that 30PSI gave the perfect contact patch but handling and fuel economy were both horrid. How are yours holding up with running 37-front/34-rear? Any issues with uneven wear on the inner part of the tire?

    Thanks!

Well strangely enough I am also running 37 all the way around. I put some weight in the back for the snow and had to increase tp, I'm averaging 17.2 mpg and I have zero tire wear to speak of. They work amazingly well in the snow!

Excellent to hear! I hear you about the snow! I'm in Pennsylvania and while it's been a mild winter, I wanted something that did better in snow/ice than what the OEM tires offered.
