Spiders feed on bugs that are attracted to light. Is there a light nearby?

Ha... we take care of most pets by finding a recipe for them. Spiders though... they get caught in your teeth too bad.

There is my pet spider. You can see all the little white dots which are the bugs he catches lol! One day he will grow into a big spider and hopefully eat some damn moths and put a hurting on the mosquito population!

True story: we were driving home late at night with some oncoming traffic on a narrow dark desert highway, cool wind (no it was very warm as it is summer) blowing through my hair, warm smell of  WTF!! There is a friggen big spider hanging on a web in front of my face!! A Semi passes us safely as I negotiate a turn while the spider is still there, but it swings onto my nose and I swat it but it lands between my legs!! Its crawling up my shorts!! (Another semi passes by and one is just a little ways behind me so I cant pull over fast)...

    To be continued...

better than a yellow jacket flying in the car window, hitting you in the neck and rolls down your shirt still stinging you, as you try to stop and not wreck the vehicle!!:anonymous:

    ...continued

So I can feel the spider moving under my shorts, and as we were returning home from a long camping trip, I ran out of clean skivvies by then but I had clean shorts, so I wasn’t wearing any ... well you know... and the frigging thing was definitely getting too close while at the same time more oncoming traffic passes by flashing their high beams because I was too distracted to turn mine down and that truck is still behind me even closer as I am trying to find a pullout with my high beams on. So, I started hitting myself down there to try to kill it and I must have missed (the spider only -ow) as I can feel it crawl back out and fall... on my foot just as I was pulling over with the semi honking at me as he passed. I was able to shake it off my foot as my wife was laughing until I pointed my flashlight at the floor and we both saw the spider- it was larger than I though! Hate spiders in my truck!

Another issue - black widows- killed 11 of them around the outside of the house last night too. Next time I’ll take pics of how I do it!

Good luck with your friend Eman- try getting it out at night as it wont be hiding then.

The ONLY solution is to set the truck on fire.

I've got spiders bad at my house this year. It's pretty insane. Never thought about getting on here and complaining about the 3 inchers that jump on me while I climb into my truck. It's a truck, parked in a truck place, getting exposed to truck stuff (like spiders)
