04B04 here. Haven't submitted zendesk feedback yet. But dead pedal in 6th around 65-70 when trying to accellerate. Need to bury the pedal to downshift. No problem with increased load going up an incline, requires a lot less throttle to downshift. Also will lug at steady speed 1100 rpm. Will submit zendesk tomorrow evening after one more day on updated 2.0 Beta on 93. Should have 150 miles by then.

04A61 for me and did experience the dead pedal in 6th while trying to accelerate onto highway today. Only about 100 miles on tune though.

Also, headed out for a 600 mile round trip tomorrow night. Should give a good idea of the performance.

@OVTune For those of us that have 93 available everywhere and are not concerned with running a lower octane, will the 2.0 OLE eventually reach the performance level of the previous 2.0 (93) Beta? I have about 100 miles on OLE and it still feels a little sluggish and underwhelming when compared to the dedicated 93 tune.

    Howdy, 1.05 issues...

Got OVTune 2 weeks ago and flashed to 1.05 - very happy camper

Flashed back to stock 3 days ago before going for first service, got back from dealer and re-flashed to 1.05. This time though seems worse than stock...Any idea why this could be?

I also have 1.05.1 showing as an option for me, should i use that instead of 1.05 (i could not find any information to say otherwise)?

Thanks in advance for the advice

Just flash to 2.0 beta and forget about 1.05

Reflashing can make it feel different due to the learned values.

Dealers can't detect the tune so flashing before going in for service is pointless.

Odd. My truck bounces from 5 to 6 and back again at the slightest of “whimsy”.

If I mash the pedal on the interstate, straight to third.

Are you having your 5.29's polished and cryo'ed? If you do not get them super frozen for strength you should get them polished. There will be NO break-in period. That is what I did for my 4.88's. No steel dust in the pumpkin pan!

    This ^^

Just drive it. It takes quite a few miles for the tune to settle in, and at this point if your ECU is supported you should be running 2.0 beta tune magic. What you are experiencing is pretty typical post-flash.

I need to look into that further, read on the 5.29 thread about people with REM changing them out for non-REM due to additional noise. Good question, I don’t have an answer though, this caused me to send an email to ECGS to see what they suggest while I wait for the 5.29s to come back into stock. I’m not opposed to either, or both, or neither.

Have you looked into what is involved to do if you do NOT polish them? For the money that you are spending I believed that it was responsible thing to do as not to chip or later crack any gears.

    Thanks lapoltba.

I have about 150 on it, what type of range is needed before it settles in usually?

General consensus seems to be 2-3 tanks of gas, so ~1000 miles.
