Well, you know everyone complains about the "stealerships", but I go back to the same dealer for service because of a very specific service advisor.

I go to the dealership because i was a dealer tech, and i watch my techs, whether are the dealer or not. I can tell when they know their stuff. When I go to my local dealer, only two techs there are allowed to work on my truck, per the service manager.

They know I don't fuck around lol

I bought one these. From Amazon of course. I saw them recently on sale for $250.

My goal was the easiest tent to set up and take down. The rest of the Pros and no Cons just made it an easy decision.

Those tents are really cool. I've heard good and meh, but nothing bad about them.

Yea Josh, apparently they are designed after the pop up ice fishing tents. I looked at another brand that is a little more heavy duty by OZTENT https://www.oztent.com/products/tent-range/oztent-range/oztent-eyre-e1 but I didn't want to spend that much. I also wanted something that I could keep and use as a secondary storage area. Meaning, when I get my cap I can set the tent up and put all my gear in there, which would free up space to sleep in the bed of the truck if I had to. Since the floor is removable I can use it as a large privacy shower, and have my commode in there, etc. I also bought a 40" wide x 74" long Coleman cot that has a air mattress. It came with a battery operated pump but bought a 115v pump that has twice the cfm. It will plug into the power port in the bed of the truck. I could have got the 12v version but the cfm was less and I would have had to buy a 12v extension cord, whereas I've already got a bunch of 115v cords. One is a hundred feet. I made sure to get a cot that would fit in the bed too. It's tight but it fits. Ultimately I'm going to build a off road trailer or just say screw it and buy a used camper. Then I'll have A/C !

I've thought that after seeing @lilred95 and his A/C trailer. Some places I like going wouldn't be good with a trailer, though

Way cool. Would be a great family tent

An off road trailer is 10/10 on the list to make one day. Especially seeing his

Howdy Kurt! I missed ya Brother! That damn Maner hijacked me into his thread, then Shanghaied me into the Pitfaced thread and Unicorn PM thread. Then get this, now he's trying to hypnotize me into buying a pair of Frenchtons off of that Lunatic Plumber Kevin!

A little something every chance we get.

These are all fine things, and merely side effects of the medicines. I, being very old, seem immune to have the ability to cover but three threads. Everyone goes to the Big Daddy and the smell of BBQ alone will do it to you. And aren't those puppies CUTE! (Thank gosh those are not the dog my wife want - which I still don't know what IS).

I've definitely thought about this too. But then I wonder what kind of off roader would I be happiest as? I think having options would be best. I think everything from cold beans in a can, a blanket and a hammock to a full on Glamping setup!

Yea, more than enough for a family. And just as easy to set up.

I hear ya! I want something I can get an Enduro in too. With a RTT.
