I know what you mean. I can't just buy a vehicle and be satisfied with it. In my life, I have spent enough on mods to buy at least 2 more vehicle outright.

Went by the Stealership today to get the T-SB0058-18 done, (after some B.S. on my part) they did it one tried to charge me $138.00 USD! Pointed out the TSB that I had a copy of and the 96 Month - 80,000 mile warranty and that went away. Anyway while I was waiting around and saw this 2019 TRD PRO and the price! WOW! $51,200. smackers!

Yeah 15 degree angle, I got the tread plate for the kick out too.

 

You will like them! Damn tough. Smacked mine a couple times, brushed off the crumbs and nothing on the sliders. Put them on myself with the help of some 2X4s and a floor jack. Worked out pretty well. Those front bolts ( left/right side) look intimidating but not too hard.

 

By the way. Did you get the D.O.M.?

 

Was there today as well, what’s worse is a 48k dealer special off-road trim. Was kinda cool to see the southern style off-road bumper in person

 

Didn't do anything to it but it did get a package in the mail today.


Stage 2 tail light conversion kit!

 

I used the cubby to put the cali raised bracket and light switches. I had no trouble with hitting the controller or getting in and out. I had never towed anything in my life. Made it home and by some miracle got the trailer in the driveway. Controller worked flawlessly.

 

I have a set I cut open awhile back just messin around to blackout all the chrome. Was thinking of installing this when done?

 

I also have both and love them both. It’s a tough life we’ve chosen for ourselves

 

started out switching the chrome lugs to black...ended up with a full tire rotation...



the black looks so much better...



also my wobble is gone so apparently at least one of my front tires was out of balance...

Can you sit down OK?

 

When I got my controller same thing, first time towing anything. I did notice that when I went into the mountains to hunt my trailer brakes locked up at around 9000 feet when I applied them? I had to lessen the intensity on the controller to not have them lock up. They were no trouble at the setting at lower elevation though. Never saw any warnings in the instructions though. Your set up is sweet! good luck with it and have a lot of fun!

 

Went to Reno for a court hearing and went to Summit Racing and they had an open box discounted Warrior Products bed rack price was awesome. Could not walk away from it lol. And switched out all the interior bulbs to led. Wow much brighter.

My problem with these are that the gray rings can easily come off. I had to glue it down better.
