Any recommendations on a good quality analog watch under $100 that can sustain Fire/EMS working conditions?

My G-Shock DW5600 is starting to show it's age after 8 years of use. The display keeps fading in and out and I was advised it may be a loose contact or something. Either way, after that much time and even having to replace the outer skin of the watch after a hard fall, that's a pretty good run.

I had a G-shock last about two years as a police officer until it finally broke in a fight. I bought another G-shock that I still have today. But if you're looking for quality analog then I'd look at the Seiko automatic divers. Specifically the 007. It's a little higher than $100 but it's the best bang for the buck, IMO.

I owned a gshok that i purchased before Iraq, broke a band, got a new one, and it still works. 5 years ago my brother gave me a new one, and I still wear it every day.

I agree a G-SHOCK is the ultimate "beater" watch. They just keep working. I only suggested the automatic Seiko because it sounded like he wanted something different. I have a Seiko SKX173 that's a brother to the 007 and I love it. I've been wearing it pretty regularly for about 6 years now. I'll post up a picture tomorrow with better lighting.

For under$100 you're not going to find anything better than a g-shock for your needs. I'm pretty hard on watches and my g-shock is the only thing that's made it.

I am going to have some hd plus add a leaf dakars for sale very soon with energy bushings. They only have 1000 or so miles on them so are basically new. Price will be $500. I also purchased the extra anti squeak pads for the add a leaf. These are great spring but wont work for me anymore and I'm not about to cut news springs and void the warranty so someone is going to get a good deal.

You going to deavers? Also, I remembered the last time we were at flagpole, you said your ray 10s fake beadlock ring "leaked" around the bolts. I just saw earlier that people are using polymer bolts in their place. Did know if you were aware of that

Yup just ordered deavers from headstrong. I honestly dont clean my ray 10s very often anymore so it doesn't bother me. As long as they hold air I'm good:thumbsup:

Freaking deavers are expensive I hope they are worth it. I got stage three. I been farting around with my rear suspension too long. I hope this is the last thing I do for awhile.

It's a work in progress. See my build thread.
I met AK (the owner) at Chaos Fab in Winchester a couple of weeks ago. Really nice guy, and he took the time to give me a tour of the shop. They do all kinds of custom fab, so if Mobtown isn't interested, give him a jingle. https://chaosfabshop.com/

DMZ makes a bolt in bed cage for Tacomas. It's not listed on their website, so you have to call them. @Coot83 is running it. It has risers that weld to the frame and then you drill holes in the bed and it bolts to the risers.
