Aftermarket MT shift knobs

That’s a stubby shifter. Did you cut the shaft and rethread it or something? Thanks for the details about the Redline stuff, too.

No. That is stock. I keep going back and forth on a short shifter. Maybe down the road.

 

I'm about to pull out my URD SS, the Core is going in next week (yeah yeah, i know....).

Put an aftermarket TRD knob on. Feels and looks nice but it's not made to match the 2016+ boot. I will seek this magic grommet.

 

Came from Lithuania.

 

Optional accessory for the FJ. The black one came standard on the 07 TRD FJ though.

How's the feel of that Cement TRD knob? Been in my Amazon cart for some time. Nice contrast with the black boot and I like a little of my shaft to show! Looks more truck like.

 

@Undertow i really like it. It’s a nice feel in the hand. Not very expensive and changes the look a little of the interior.

I like the look of the OEM Hilux leather shift knob. Do the Tacoma and the Hilux shift knobs have the same thread and pitch ?

 

99.9% sure they do and same as most Toyotas.
