I am going to add a front Camera to my TRD sport, I bought the Natika camera. Just looking for recommendations on how to install on the stock sport grill. I have a 19 so the Toyota emblem will not work because of the sensor. I was thinking of installing it on the grill right below the emblem with two heavy plastic washers for support. Any thoughts??

If you bought the Natika recommended in post #1, it will be difficult. That one works for Pro grills. Send it back and order one that works with your grill (search) or get a Pro grill and sensor garnish for your TSS RADAR.

I ordered a fake Pro grill, myself. running4tacos.com
Better look, better view over the bumper.

I have the Natika camera mounted below the insignia on the grill mounted like you mentioned. Instead of plastic washers though, I used some thin lucite that I trimmed to the diamond shape and mounted it that way. Full view of the bumper and works well without any drilling or other permanent mods.

We’re you able to install it higher on the grill? I’m trying to avoid putting a camera so close to the garnish like a lot of the YouTube videos show...

No, mine is right beside the garnish. Slightly off center, but it's good enough for parking accurately or getting close enough to a Ford Pinto to aaaaaalmost detonate its gas tank.

Before you lock it down, use those shims to tilt it so the red line is 1" from the front bumper.

I put mine under the bumper in front of the skid. Fits perfect, no issue. Only way I'd hit it is if I destroyed the front end. But works great on the trail since I can see everything that could get in the way, better view for obstacles

There are three holes centered under the bumper. That camera will fit in the middle one. No drilling and the view is ok.

I take it it never snows where you are.

Bumper-high snow is how we measure "should I call in that I'll be a few minutes late" here. The Natika is sturdy but not that sturdy. And snow, higher than the bumper, implies I'm driving something else.

I'm sure the camera is really working hard to see a field of white.

Got any pictures from that spot on yours? Sounds like you and Ziggyman might have it mounted in the same spot.

Lol, it's not the inability to see that made me opt for a grill mount as much as the likelihood that the inevitable crust on the inevitable snow will scrape the camera off the bottom of the bumper like removing zits w/ a 278Hp potato peeler.

I put mine between the bumper and skid plate, it allows me to use it as a trail cam so I never need a spotter. The angle from the grill really flattens the terrain and is bad for that. If you just wanna use it for parking then it doesn't really matter.

If the grill removes easily you could lay it flat and fill one of the grill holes with epoxy or abs glue then drill it out for the camera.

I don't need it for parking. I want to use it like you are. Do you have a pic from your setup to compare to others that have posted?
