From the sound of it he found a way around USADA for a while then eventually got caught slippin. Either he got complacent or more than likely he had to compensate for the weight cut to 135 and switched up his usual cycling routine and got busted

I don't think I've ever seen Romero wrestle any of his opponents.

Also Romero has passed tons of tests his whole life from the Olympics to now. He's a freak.

Romero’s funny because he seems to get taken down a lot and then he pops right back up. Nobody keeps him down like ever but he gets taken down. Kinda odd.

I can’t help but wonder how many of the athletes are still out there in the testing pool who are getting away with some kind of PED use. You hear fighters talk all the time about how they know people who are doing it. I bet the actual numbers are pretty crazy.

I would think it's way harder in ufc with the USADA random testing going on. As for the other organizations it's prob still like the pride days. Without randoms it's too easy to cheat.

As for Romero... He's sort of similar to Dan Henderson with not using wrestling and trying to KO you. Dan was a lot easier to keep down though.

Romero is a monster. Romero vs Whitaker 2 last year was unbelievable.

This is true but I think Costa will bring enough heat and power the Romero will need to control him. If this stays standing I'm giving the edge to Costa. Whatever happens I'm pretty happy about this card. It's gonna be some good fights for sure.

Finally a card worth the hassle of ESPN+. This will be the first PPV I’ve gotten since the change. My picks

    Romero - for experience
    Pettis - Diaz rusty
Stipe - because I can’t go against my boy lol. That and I think he’s sharper than ever since the loss. He was too consumed with his daughters birth last time to have a good camp and he didn’t look like himself.

Regardless this whole card is gonna be great. Hoping Diaz can come back with a bang but Pettis looks really good since moving up.

Costa swears he'll KO Romero. He is a good fighter but Romero is a fuckin rock. Whittaker hit that dude so hard and came out of it with a broken hand. Good luck dude.Id like to see it.lol

I agree, Romero is just something different. Costa is good, but this will be a real test.

    Hard to decide.

    1) Romero
    2) Pettis
    3) Stipe (I think DC is better all around)

Rockhold said that Romero felt like hitting steel after their fight. Pretty crazy.
