I really like my Victory 4x4 rack, other than the install was a huge pain in the ass and I gouged/chipped the paint pretty deeply on the rain gutter with the middle brackets before I figured out I needed to add my own stainless washers, four per side, as spacers between the brackets and the rack itself, so that the brackets weren't being pulled directly against the bends of the gutter. (I still need to get longer stainless bolts for those ones, the nuts are barely threaded on enough to stay now).

That hurt... first 'damage' to my truck (at 6,000 miles). I used fingernail polish as a quick fix until I can get a color-matched repair kit.

Also it looks great, but fit isn't perfect, and despite my best efforts to adjust, and re-adjust, some of the rails are easier to adjust/slide than others (one is really a pain in the ass).

Another thing, I used a 1"x1/8" black sticky weather stripping to run all the way down the channel, instead of silicone under each bracket, and that looks really good. And save the extra, left-over piece of the slip on weather strip they give you. Put that one the back of the rack, over the brake light so it doesn't rattle against the metal on your truck (happened to me on the freeway, and scared the crap out of me, probably scratched up my clear-coat a little as well).

I can take pics to better illustrate any of what I'm talking about, if anybody wants me to.

That's the first I've heard of needing any washers. We are out of the shop wheeling in CO this week, but I'll look at my truck as soon as I get back to the shop. (It's not out here with me.)

I ordered the Victory 4x4 Roof rack and blitz sliders, they look great and I highly recommend them.

Hello, so I'm looking to get one of the 2 roof racks and I'm leaning towards the Victory rack. Was wondering if anyone can give me their likes and dislikes of which ever one they got....also which led bar did you get with the victory? Thanks!

Apologies if I missed it, but which light bar did you go with?

Anyone else have 3 different bolt sizes with different thread patterns? If so, what are they for? Double Cab Roof Rack.

Yes. Didn’t use the big ones on the left. Middle ones go into the roof holes. Right ones for bars and fairings.

Yep sorry, we send the same bolt pack with both models. Working on install documents that clarify as we speak. Sorry for the confusion!

Does anyone know if the Victory and Prinsu racks have a difference in width or height they sit off the truck? ?

No idea on Prisnu, but our rack rail tops are 2.5" above the highest point of the roof (center point).

Im glad I stumbled across this thread. I think I am going to go with Victory. Seems to me as through Prinsu has gotten to the point of being a bit greedy on profit margins. These looks almost identical (victory looks a tad better IMO) so material cost and overhead should be very simillar although theres a $232 difference in cost whichI could spend towards a light bar

Just ordered the Victory today. Free shipping was a major factor.

Just a heads up for those of you deciding, trick brigade has free shipping on everything. Got my prinsu out the door delivered for $723

I also had a hard time deciding. I liked the looks of the prinsu better when I saw them in person but the price tag was steep. Pulled the trigger once I seen it on truck brigade.
