WesternNC Bikes 'n Tacos - Fail Festival 2019

I don't see why I couldn't get there Friday night. Not sure if solo or if girlfriend will be joining.

 

I'll likely be an early Saturday arrival. Possibly a crazy late Friday night arrival, but thats too be determined.

It appears all of the group campgrounds in PNF are booked up that weekend too. I'm calling for info on white pine group camp as I couldn't get it's availability online.

Bike farm could be an option. I'll look into that too.

 

There's also a big dispersed campsite along the North Mills River that could fit us all. Someone would have to show up Thursday night if we wanted a shot at that one though.

 

UPDATE: I spoke to the host of the Mountain Meadows site I posted above. She says that they can easily accommodate 10-12 trucks and just did so with another MTB club a few weeks ago. She suggested that we book both sites and has already made the entire property unavailable for anyone else, so we'll have the entire place to ourselves!

The total cost for both nights and all extra vehicles is $140-160 (base on 8-10 people), so the next thing I need to do is get a CONFIRMED list of attendees. How do you guys want to go about locking in attendance? Does someone want to create an e-vite of some sort and I'll simply request payment via paypal (or cash on-site), or do you just want to create an informal list here in this thread for people committing to attend?

I will front the money and finalize the booking once we have a confirmed list of attendees (No later than COB tomorrow).

Really hope to nail down the confirmations ASAP so that I can finalize the campsite arrangements. If only five of us end up going, I'm obviously not going to rent the entire site.
