Today's festivities

 

ARE, I’m guessing V series? None of the bells and whistles I really wanted had I bought new, but for $500 and already color matched I can figure out installing my own racks and deal with a physical keyed latch.

 

Just drive this home Saturday it had 5 miles on the odo. SR5 Access cab automatic V6. SR5 Navigstion,etune,parking sonar suite!

I cleaned her up this weekend and took some better pics.

 

Best color! I can stand seeing a little dust on silver sky more than the black '16 SR5 I traded off last year.

 

Installed a 2nd Gen Skid Plate on my 3rd Gen Taco

 

Made the maiden voyage up to Flagpole Knob (Va.) and had a blast camping out and adventuring for the weekend.

 

That's the life!

If any of you fellow silver's are looking to get rid of your cap, shoot me a message. I have the TruckCoversUSA rolling tonneau which is AWESOME in every single way (racks on it, waterproof, lockable, rugged, etc.,) but I bought it and put it on the truck before kids almost 3 years ago. While it's perfect for 2 of us, it's not the best for trying to fit all the things toddlers need on longer trips along w/ our outdoor gear, etc., As much as I prefer the tonneau over a cap, I'm looking to trade and or sell/trade to a silver cap.

We tend to get off road on our trips, can't get the wife to bite on a 4Runner (too big) and I am keeping a truck... so the Taco continues to be our go-to vehicle for trips.

I just don't want to drop another $2k+ on a cap when I already had over $2k in this awesome tonneau...

 

Got my windows tinted yesterday. Now leveling and tires.
