Yup @JustDSM has been great to work with for engine tuning thats for sure!

We can do everything remotely! haha.

Post 303 330 laid out how to properly pair the Immobilizer ECU to the new ECM so the truck starts. Super simple process.

Also, good lord.... running a completely stock cal on this new ecu *barf*.... race to 5th gear, hunts for gears, throttle pedal has no life till you push it to the floor... Ill be getting my tune back on my truck as quick as i get a spare ecu in my hands!

Downloading vcm suite and the latest beta now so I’ll be ready to roll once everything gets here.

Im not sure if the install procedure is different now. But originally it was install latest non beta, run it once, then install latest beta (which is usually updated most days of the work week) and you are good to go.

It’s no longer post #303 and I can’t find it. This thread is getting convoluted...

That would be super important information.

Also, HPTuners do you have support for the 2UZFE?

Well I maybe re-downloading again then. Oh well. Just wanted to be ready to go tomorrow. But man I freaking hate how slow my internet is. Y’all can probably download this stuff in a minute and its taking me 20

boondocks living problems..... Also, save your installer files dated, you never know if things will get removed due to "the mans" interactions with stuff like this. I have every beta installer saved

I'd posted before that I did not load or run the production version. I just dl'd the beta and the drivers and it came up fine. I am able to scan and dl stock tune, and run comparisons of tune files, haven't burned one in yet though.

I want some timing sprinkles!!! I gotta drive the truck some more and get some data logging and get in touch with you. I think with my meth we can add all the timing lol

be careful with that. he and I spoke about that already. for me, meth will be an extra richness octane booster. tuning for use of meth drastically improves the failure rate of a motor should the meth system go down. you could have a fuse quit or a nozzle plug and it may cost your engine. gains to be had, but just know the risk.

I've pretty well got just about all the TRD setups done to some degree. Go ahead and send me a email (my username at gmail) and include your mods as well as your stock tune file. I'll get you back something here in a few minutes to test if you feel like romping on it tonight.

Well I was trying to hurry and get everything registered/ installed so I could read my ECU and get the file sent to @JustDSM but either I'm too tired from being up since 3am, or just can't figure it out. Getting this error when trying to read. Key turned to ON, wait 15 sec, and yes everything plugged in. The only light on the MPVI2 that is on when all plugged in is the power light. No obd light comes on when I plug in. Any thoughts before I have to leave for a few hrs?
