Gear loc in 2nd, converter locked steady pedal.

Enjoyed 2.0 ole today. On 32’s truck shifts fine to 5th and 4th on steeper hills. When making a right turn i can add increasing throttle and the truck will stay in 1st gear in D mode and accelerate through the corner, no more bog into 2nd gear!!!!!!!!!! Good work MAT!!!!

 

Well looks like were going back to 1.05 for now. My wife says ( the gas pedal is to touchy). Wtf.

 

Is it like the 1.05 performance ?

No, it is in between base and perf. Just right for me. A bit aggressive but easy enough to get used to and learn to use it smooth.

 

1.05 Base -> 2.0 ———> 1.05 Performance is how I’d rate the “touchiness”.

 

Is anyone monitoring torque converter lockup with a Scangauge? I picked one up to keep a closer eye on differences in the tunes behavior, but the code I have for that doesn't seem to match with the Taco.

No, way softer on take on from a stand still.

Once your at speed 30, 40, 50, ect... if you let off the throttle and then get back on the throttle the truck is very fast, enrichment?, at opening the throttle body and bringing the cams and fuel on. Only took a minor adjustment for me. And I bet it will soften after a couple hundred more miles as I get used to it.

 

I was thinking the same thing earlier. I back into my garage and it’s on an incline and I’ll buck backing up. Sometimes starting from a stop it’ll buck since I’m not used to it yet.

 

Might be fixed in 2.0 beta second version. Didn't get a chance to download it. But with the first version, 04B04 93 performance/gearlock. Ect in drive dogged the transmission down. No power, even with skinny pedal all the way down. Without ect button engaged it was great.

 

Right in the middle between base and performance.

 

I wish it was that easy. She said can you imagine trying to drive that on the ice this winter. I was like, YES. Yes I can. Lol
