So just purchased this rack. I have the OEM roof rack right now. I'm guessing I need to buy the OEM rubber to fill in the channels for the new rack?

I’ve had this rack on my truck for about 5k miles now. I did a 2k mike round trip with my rtt mounted to it about 4 days after I installed it. Install was very easy and the rack has held up awesome. I would not hesitate to buy it again.

What does the messenger discount thing end up being? I don't want to bother someone for their Facebook credentials if it's not much of a discount

If you order through ubox just add to cart and go all the way up to submitting order then close it out and they will send you an email with a promo code to get you to finish order.

The discount they give you, $8.63, is basically the foreign transaction fee they charge you for the purchase of the rack. They use their bank in China. My bank waived the fee as is wasn’t disclosed at the time of purchase.

The $195 dollar eBay one in the “products discussed” box in this thread, I had anyone actually bought that one?

I am wanting the newest version without the numbers and with the shark fin cutout, although the cutout isn’t too big a deal as I can just angle grinder a notch. Don’t care about the lights.

Is that the one I will get if I purchase the $195 eBay one? It looks to be, if the pictures are accurate...

If so, I don’t see why I’d pay $85 more for the same rack

I believe that one seller has shipped included vs ebay is $195 + shipping
