I will make an assumption or two here... You mentioned you are waiting for a registration key. So, I am assuming you have been in communication with him and sent him your system ID. If this is correct, then yes, wait for the registration key and then follow the video instructions.
If this is not correct, you should contact Mat though zendesk and work with him to get resolution.

So my laptop no longer wants to recognize my tactrix! Right when 2.0 is ready!!!

One of the usb devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned and windows can not recognize it. Does it need a usb splitter or could the tactrix unit be broken?

 

300 mile trip this evening in Texas highway mode (75-85mph). Dead pedal is really bad in that zone. 3” of pedal will get TC to unlock, I think, any more and I hit 4th and 5k. I’m sure Mat’s already working on the solution since he seemed to already know that it was the A61 guys.

Try a different USB port / cable

 

Try restarting your computer, without anything connected. Then connect everything one at a time.

 

The latest 2.0 with octane learning feels great.

Shifting points, throttle is predictable, throttle response between base/performance, and it really hauls ass when you ask it to now, instead of the half assed power it used to deliver due to throttle tables..

Can't wait to gas up with 93 and also try the final 2.0 tune with ect.

A lot of people are making very specific requests here and Mat can't make a general release that pleases everyone. Specific shiftpoints, throttle responsiveness etc should be left to custom tuning requests imo due to the subjective nature of it.

Yes, thats correct. I've been in contact through zendesk. I was just wanting some clarification on the instructions since I had a 'dongle' kit and now I guess I'm dongleless. Everything else should be in order just fine. Just trying to clear up my install instruction before my reg key gets here and I can actually flash the truck

 

Would that, dongeless, be advantages?

I just switched to wildpeaks SL and I'm almost done with my first tank, def lost some mpg

 

Maybe I am in the minority, but I felt the stock gas pedal was extremely unresponsive. The first half of the pedal does nothing. I used a Pedal Commander with custom settings and ShiftSense Pro before switching to OVTUNE, so I felt Mat’s Pedal tip-in was less aggressive than my previous custom settings. It does take a little to get used to, but I feel that OVTUNE 2.0 drives more like other vehicles now instead of having an unresponsive gas pedal and erratic shifting. I dont regret my decision going with OVTUNE at all and look forward to the final 2.0 changes as well. Keep up the good work Mat!

 

Factory size or did you increase?

I have 2 trucks running them, plus my brothers and none of them have lost any fuel economy with the SL in factory size.

 

Sorry, forget to say 265 75 16, up from 254 75 16 stock.ill give it a few tanks and see how it goes

 

My understanding is gear lock would only be engaged when in sport mode. And ect would function normally in drive.
