What threw the light? Were there some damaged wires near the hub?

you gotta remember, those are not stock spindles. they are the much longer drop bracket ones. Stock gussets wont fit.

Also the dash lights are due to your steering being off. Essentially the truck sees a steering angle but knows you are not turning (due to yaw sensors) and then throws a code. Happened to my buddies truck when he knocked it out of alignment. Fixed it with my tech stream cable.

New knuckle and alignment should correct the problem and clear the code tho right? Surely we can fab something up as far as gussets go. Ya think?

Update lol! New knuckle installed, you racks perfect. Steering wheel still turned and traction light still comes on after about 1/4 mile. Maybe alignment? Taking it tomorrow morning.

i know this is an old thread but how do you tell if you bent a spindle? my alignment has been bad for awhile because of failed bushings and seized cam bolts

There will be a 'large' difference in the SAI and included angles from side-to-side.

Take it in for an alignment. If your spindle is bent, any alignment shop worth a damn will tell you so

Well in that case....sounds like you have some work to do lol. Cut out the seized bolt, Install new LCA bushings then take it in to see if the spindle is fubar'ed. Or just replace all of it and put in new gusseted spindles and call it good
