I am fairly new to the forums and recently acquired a 2019 Access Cab Tacoma and finding it fairly confusing to find the best running board/steps to fit my model. Does anyone have advice that can save a new guy more frustration. Finding it hard to pull the trigger on buying them as I never have done so before. Anyway, any help is appreciated.:fingerscrossed:

    Lots, straight from the factory.
There are a lot of threads on this. You can search for them, however the search feature can be a little bit of a pain. (Search "sliders" instead of running boards.
There are a lot of good brands out there. I personally like the Demello Off Road sliders. SOS makes some that a lot of guys like, and say are the best.

Anyways, good luck in your search!

I think I might be getting those for my truck too. My wife and 7 year old are having a hard time getting into the truck currently.

Welcome to the forum from Eastern North Carolina.

I have PT212-35053, on my 2019 SR5 and love them.

I went to a couple dealerships to compare styles, then found a new in box set on Ebay for half the dealer price.

If you're willing to sacrifice the weight, some rock sliders are a good option too. I like the look of RCIs sliders with the top plate. They can do 0,5 and 20 degree angles in relation to the ground + cab

Thanks for your suggestions. Finally installed 6" iboard black running boards. Install was pretty simple, they fit nice and so far are great. Next: Anybody suggest the best bed covers...Thanks.

It's an Extang Encore. Opens front or rear. The front lock is keyed to match the truck.

Installation took me about an hour. I shopped online until I found the best price, then asked my local Trucker's Toy Store if they would match the price, and they did.

I can take it off, or put it back on in a couple minutes, by myself, with no tools.

I am VERY satisfied with it.

Being that these are made for a double cab - did all the brackets align to the body holes? And do the running boards stick into the bed area? I have a buddy with an access cab that wants these running boards.

Any side shots near the cab/bed area?

Thanks a ton, if you can help out!
