I was thinking about getting a RTT but after seeing a Prius hatchback with one driving from Canada to Idaho, I am not sure I can be seen with one on my truck... I tried to get a pic but got caught at a light.

I've seen them on just about everything...saw an old 60s Voltswagen Bug with one up in Oregon (it's parked out in front of the CVT shop)

Seen them on minivans, tons of Subarus...never seen one on a Prius though. That's a first

Not affiliated with the company but just seen this and thought I would share if anyone is looking. I don’t know if they are good or not?

They discounted it from crazy overpriced to normal price for a 2 man tent lol. Looks pretty similar to a Smittybilt or Tuff Stuff Delta which go for about the same price (under a grand). It'd be crazy to pay $1500 for a 2 person RTT, at least IMO

I bought an RTT a few months ago and I'm already starting to feel some buyer's remorse... While the RTT is pretty awesome, I've recently been thinking of switching it out for an awning/swag setup just for weight reasons and also to not have to constantly carry around a tent with reduced available bed space...

I loved mine for about a year but loved the day I got rid of it and got my bed back. I guess you could say, just like buying a boat....there’s only 2 good days, the day you buy it and the day you sell it.

I sold mine and doubled the size on the new one and just made a trailer for it. Best of both worlds.

I mostly just love being off the ground. I do feel your pain with losing the bed though. Custom camp trailer is definitely the way to go

That's a good deal, I would jump on it. Good to see some RTTs starting to come down in price a bit. The bigger name brands keep getting more expensive. Virtually all of them come from the same few factories in China anyway, just the labels and designs are a bit different.

Sometimes you can find RTTs on Alibaba (Amazon for the rest of the world) for stupid cheap, but usually you have to order them in bulk.

There is one other good day with an RTT... the day you flip it out quick with a nice mattress and sleeping bag setup and then you're drinking beers watching friends struggle to setup ground tents

Yeah, being off the ground is huge. You can actually get swags that integrate with cots so that's what I'm looking at now.

    A setup like this:

    https://www.instagram.com/p/BYPQY-qgKsx/

I'm just not a fan of trailers for the kinda trails I like to do.
