Guns are politics just like a hammer is politics. Debate some clown about my birth right to self preservation and freedom shouldn't be politics either

That’s my exact philosophy. Unless I cannot absolutely help it they are on me at all times. Long guns get stored back in the house. No way am I leaving them in a the truck or anywhere else.

I left the Iron Bloc that is the northeast region (NJ) in my very early twenties and never looked back. Best thing I ever did to improve my quality of life.

I did move back to Maine for a time, but Maine is a different world comparatively.

This thread is the reason why you don't post pictures of your lisence plate. Not that big brother is watching. But the man in the black hoodie with the hammer sure is.

See the neat thing about the 2A is that I don't have to tell the government or you for that matter why I need it. I mean we don't have to justify the need to practice our selected religion, political party, the right to unlawful search and seiure, the right to a trial by jury, the need to protest, the need to petition our government, the need to tell our politicians they are assholes, etc.....

Side note: The framers intended that the populace be armed as the common infantry. They knew far to well the dangers of a standing army and a belligerent government.

Awaiting my self inflicted vacation from Tacoma World, but honestly some things just need 'splained. Plainly, possibly bluntly.

The original post was just asking what Guns you keep in your truck. No more political talk. Everyone is subject to their opinion and leave it at that.

I don't leave my guns in my truck per say but its usually between my AR, 30-30, or my 30-06 during hunting season.
We can open carry in my state so I just leave my AR riding "shotgun" if you will lol. I usually don't carry it full time but its usually with me on the way to work or if I'm cruising dirt roads looking for coyotes.

30-30 is my camping gun. We live and camp near grizzly country so its just extra piece of mind in the event that bear spray doesn't work. Haven't had to use it yet and hope on never having to.

30-06 is my hunting rifle. It stays with me in the event I get drawn for the Damage hunt, or decide to go for a quick drive after work.

Lots of guys around here have a 22 mag or 17 HMR in the truck at all times. Tons of varmints to deal with in rural AZ.
