Costco is a solid choice. Especially if you are already a member. Go with a set of Michelin's

Discount Tire (America's Tire) will beat Costco prices but not by much. But I do like Discount Tire's customer service much better.

Ran into this problem awhile back. They won’t install over sized tires, at least at the local one in AZ

    LS1 swap with nitros.
I have Michelin LTX on my truck from Costco. Awesome price and after maybe 5-6 sets of tires from them on our cars, zero, and I mean zero marks on the rims. I have had rim damage done by Honda (sued them for it), Firestone (they replaced the wheel), and tire kingdom (they denied and it was only one rim).

Costco is the only place I trust to do tires unless I am doing it myself.

Costco’s gimmick is they use Nitrogen instead of air.

Normally what I would do is get the price from Costco and show America’s Tire and have them price match since they’re normally less busy than Costco so it seems..then again I never really got tires from Costco so I don’t know the wait time average

Mostly stock with a few minor mods.
I thought this gimmick kind of disappeared after people realized that the air they breath is 78.09% nitrogen and unless they can get the existing air out of a mounted tire, adding 100% nitrogen is going to basically net you about 80% when it mixes (thus making it pointless). I guess not.

Costco has the BFG LT265/75R16/E (31.7") K02 All Terrain tire and the KMT Mud Terrain tire, but you may need the manager to verify they'll fit and approve the order before they'll install them for you...

Bought my KO2s from samslcub. Thought I had balancing issues, turns out it was just from preloading my 5100s and getting a stiff ride.
Haven't had any problems with them. Costco shouldn't be any different

I've bought 4 sets of tires from Costco for my various cars. One of my coworkers moonlights as a tire installer for them, and he's as conscientious and detail oriented a person as you'll ever meet. Not saying they don't hire any idiots, but I know for a fact one of them is first rate.

When my mom pulled a dingbat move and ran her tire over a curb, cutting the sidewall, they honored the road hazard warranty with out a question.

The one down side is they will only install tires the same size that came from the factory. If you want big tires, Costco isn't your place. I have nothing bad to say about the process and when the time comes I'll be buying my 5th set from them too.

I have bought several sets of Michelin LTX from Costco. No problems. Great price. As stated elsewhere they will only put factory sized tires on which is not a problem for me.

They make decent shampoo, don't see why their tires wouldn't be OK

Instead of purchasing just four tires, you get eight

I always run stock wheels and stick with factory size tires, so I have never had a problem with Costco. Their current sale is $130 off 4 Bridgestone, but I am leaning toward waiting for their next Michelin sale and going with LTX.

Costco has great prices on many things.

Tires seem to be cheaper at Discount tire, may be because of the variety, and intra brand competition.

Synthetic oil and batteries are less expensive at Walmart.

That happens at lots of shops. Gosh darn, I've even read where it happens at Toyota dealerships. :notsure::notsure:

If you bring in just a set of wheels, they dont require them being the same size. I had to do that with my old astro van when I wanted to get 31s on it.
