Finally figured out a way to mount my phone to my satisfaction!

Combined the Hondo garage Unholy 2 mount and a proclip Iphone mount. You have to remove the 2 front screws on the proclip mount to get the base off. Drill out the 2 opposite corners of mounting base as they line up to the 2 mounting holes on the Unholy mount.(you can’t see this once phone mount is back on).

Attach the mounting base of the proclip mount to the unholy mount using the 2 thumb screws that come with the unholy mount (through the holes you just drilled out).

Install the phone base back on using the 2 screws removed at the start.

So sturdy and leaves are flow from the vent.

Don’t worry, you’ll get used to the symptoms of being a Tacoma owner!:rofl::rofl:
But seriously, it’s well worth the investment for the MESO lights!

@MESO needs to add a slider dimmer switch to them. Or maybe a switch to go from red to white. I like my night vision.

Great idea. Gonna try this out since I have a Proclip iPhone mount from my previous vehicle.

I left them on, but I put sheets of paper and tape around it to eliminate the spray off to the sides. I Used 5-6 coats and it peeled off easy.

No issues with in between the A and stuff? I thought about trying it on but felt like some of those in between of the letters would be a pain in the ass.

What a day for truck stuff. Got the map & dome lights, and tail lights upgraded courtesy of meso, bolted on a set of cheap side steps to keep the girlfriend happy, and replaced my vinyl tailgate inserts with raised metal ones. Did some dent pulling because driving 2 lane highways with heavy semi traffic from the oilfield is just brutal to a vehicle. Gonna get back to pulling that sealant out of my headlights in a bit, I *really* underestimated how much of a pain that'd be and have put it off for way too long.
