If you hold out for a silver one, you'll likely never have one. I've been keeping an eye on the market nationwide the whole 5 years I have had my truck and I have only ever seen 3 silver ones pop up. One in Alaska and two in Southern CA. None were the XTR, they were cheap LEER ones with no carpet on the interior, broken rear windows, etc.

 

WTF is happening here?

Is this the proper way to replace the axle on a trailer?

It had one but I need the parts to fix the Tacoma.

I should do the opposite of Tim ... build a 1st gen LONG bed trailer. It'd look something like this:

 

I don’t know. But I do know that I have a 5-speed 6’ bed and a double cab....

 

I’ll probably just buy one new. GF already said she’d buy it for me as a birthday gift.

 

Rainbow Lakes is only one I can think of and not exactly close and it takes reservations I believe.

 

Pretty sure there is already a McD’s there, just order a cheeseburger and create your special free range sauce by mixing the packets together.

What about a soft topper?
Not as secure,but something to keep your stuff out of the weather.

First, I am no expert so hopefully this is useful. To level set expectations I think there is little “camping” you will find close in to Denver, years of people trying to live “alternate” lifestyle since we legalized stuff has residents, police with zero tolerance towards “urban” camping.

So, I would try Chinns Lake or Lock Lomond out by Idaho springs, nice lakes with descent fishing and camping OK, but can be a zoo most weekends.

 

Drop the trucks and $5K off and I'll swap it for you. ETA 6-18 months and you have to figure out painting the knock off.
