Pretty sure Entune and Nav are two separate things. Updating Entune adds/removes apps and keeps that current. To update the Nav you need to replace the SD card with an updated one.

Thanks! The one thing I could do without though is the traffic. :annoyed: Other than that it’s a beautiful place to live. Only a 45 minute drive to Big Sur (granted there’s no traffic) or out to Carmel Valley for the sunshine and hiking. When it’s foggy and cold here Carmel Valley is always sunny and warm! :D Gotta love the coastal micro-climates!

On another note TW members, I've bought a set of mud flaps on EBay that do not act as a sail as I'm driving down the road. Parts were delivered mid week but I've been camping so I'm anxious to get home to install them.

I am unsure, however when I googled the file name which ends in KIWI...........

The KIWI GPS navigation system is used in various in-car systems factory-installed by automotive manufacturers.

however I am no expert and figured WTH, easy enough to update. Maybe big brother is plugged in monitoring me now.

Anyone have a copy of the NAV update? My 2017 was outdated when I drove off the lot in 2017.

Mine too, but the Nav sucks so bad I never use it. I just use Waze on my phone.

Since day one I always hook my cell phone in the driver's side door pocket so it would be hard to follow the GPS from down there. Have not been interested in mounting cell phone on dash somehow.

Finally got around to installing my JDM ASTAR interior LEDs. Vanity lights look to be a different color than the map/dome lights.

Was it an entire kit of LEDs you bought or did you have to purchase separately.

No issues at all. I read a few threads on here before I did it and if you use a toothpick you can get the extra paint out between the “o” and “A”. It’s just a little time consuming having to let the paint dry each time(~15min each for me). But the more coats you use the easier it is to remove the paint by peeling it.

I had the dome and map lights that I bought for my 2017 4Runner that I never installed. Had to buy the 29mm fuse LEDs for the vanity lights.

Installed a pop n lock the other day. Thought it was pretty noisy. Opened the tailgate back up and installed some sound dampening foam along with some rubber washers where the pop n lock mounts to the tailgate. Did a little experiment and it appears to have reduced the noise a bit.

With the gate open and phone on ground below (~2.5' away). I cycled through lock and unlock three times. Lost about 7 dBs.
