1200 might be too much to overcome. I would imagine the engine and trans can handle it but not sure about the tundra bed.

Like Rob says, pare it down just a bit, add beefy springs and it should work

Or we could let the 50+ polling system work its magic.

I don't plan on carrying much more than I do now other than a few necessities that having a real kitchen and real bed will entail. Stuff adds up quick though.
Camper with water, propane and batteries only is 2200lbs. few extra gallons of drinking water, some bedding, pot and pans, clothes, food, camera gear, firewood, shovel, axe, bucket, solar panels and me and that's easily another 400-500lbs.

not to mention that even if i could get the suspension amped up enough to haul it the transmission would be the next weak link and there's nothing i can do about that. no matter which way i leave town i have to haul over a mountain pass. thats a lot of strain on the tranny.

nope. i want a hard sided camper. i cant camp in certain areas now due to high bear activity and they don't allow tents or soft sided campers. and i want a bathroom.

    Wow
Finally done with upgrades (NOT MODS) to three rooms.
    Scratch those off my list...
    Good enough till next year.
Maybe a new master bedroom set then..

You can't hurt an Allison Automatic !!!!!

The transmission in the new GMC and Chevy p/ups are Allison heavy duty rated and are standard on 2500 and 3500 series

Hmmm... Bear Country. Yep, you win. But blue, ok. ;)

I sure wish Toyota would come on-line and truly compete with the big 3 in the full size pickup market. :(

I got myself 2 new toys today.
    20190817_144041.jpg
I've been thinking about getting a blower for awhile. So today I went looking. Saw the blower then I saw the blower/trimmer combo. The combo was on sale for $20.00 more than just the blower alone. Really didn't need the trimmer, but now I figured Mary can help me with yard work. It came with a 4amp hour battery and charger.
The reason I got Dewalt is that a few years back Mary got me a Dewalt 20v drill. So have just kept with Dewalt for my bigger stuff. Been happy with it. Smaller12v I have Milwaukee.

    I get it.
I've been looking at the blower for a while, just haven't pulled the trigger. That string trimmer would be good for trimming around utility boxes and such but our purchase cards are "shut off" till 1 October.
