I have a thick 3/4” stall mat in the bed and just use a quality sleeping pad on it. That’s it! Simple and light. My gear is in waterproof totes and I just set it in my back seat or under the bed of the truck.

See if any Labor Day sales are going on. Maybe discount tire will run their “spend $400 get $100 off” on their eBay store.

Im looking at spending around 1200 for 5. pretty much standard cost across the board. My current tires have half tread on them, so ill keep those as spares

I use the REI 3.5 self inflating mat. It’s pretty nice for a pad, and I just shift around a couple times in the night since I’m a side sleeper. If I was a back sleeper it’d be perfect. Go to REI and you can sample all the pads.

Oh i have lol. Im a belly sleeper lol. Nothing works

Yeah, my pup is smart. She will go right up the stairs. Also helps that she is only 60 lbs, so I can lift her up there if I have a need. But the one I have is too small now thats shes grown.

By the way, anyone wondering about longevity of st maxx tires, I ran 38 psi on the street, and 10-12 offroad. I have 40k miles on them. half tread life.

Evening all! Had a great day today helping my brother in law demo part of his house that he is renovating. Forgot how much I love that kind of work. Now, time for beer...cheers!
