I'm going to need to order new summer tires for the WRX this winter. I'm trying to decide what to get. The Michelin Pilot Sports are highly rated, but $1000 +/- for 4 tires. I've have had good luck with Kuhmo and Falken all seasons on other cars I've owned. A set of Kuhmo/Falken performance tires is around $600.

Did the exact same thing myself for a while when I wasn't in class. I started with using an app called Bungii, kinda Uber for peoples crap. If you ever want business on the side, it's about $15-30 an hour pretty consistently (that's factoring in gas expenses and if you stay out of DC.) I stopped doing it a while ago because I hate the work and found a better side job that didn't involve using my truck. Another Nova TW member was doing it for a while as well. Think his name was Victor.

Either way, the whole moving business is a great way to make extra cash around here. I've noticed the landscaping market and a bunch of others are completely oversaturated, while there's a decent demand for reliable moving help.

I'm running stock size Michelin x-ice as the winter tires on my factory WRX wheels.

My summer tires will be 265/35r18, most likely. That's the typical size on the size of my summer wheels. I might go with 275/35r18 as it's the closest to stock size.

It's a work in progress. See my build thread.
Not sure if it is still on, but I just went through tirebuyer.com and got a 10% off my cart, AND 7% off of my tires because Nitto was having a sale. Got 4 285/70x17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers for $780.

Totally man. Ive hired my friends to do other moving jobs that don't need my truck, and I also hire them to help with jobs that I need a helper with.

I have ended up making about $70-80/hour. I don't give people an hourly rate, instead I give them a price of what I would do the job for. People also are willing to support college students, so I named the business "students and trucks" to really hammer it in that we are students.
