Me too. I was in shock for a moment when I heard about Dale Jr's plane crash. Thank God everyone is ok, even their pups.

    Evening All!

I just spent all day working on two toilets and accomplished nothing. :censored:

The upstairs one started leaking last weekend, around the base. I replaced the seal but it's still leaking. I think it needs a new flange too. It's also leaking around the base of the tank now. Way to go.

The downstairs toilet started overflowing over the top of the tank. This was last night. The valve wouldn't shut off the tank fill. I started to do the replacement but one of the tank bolts is so corroded that it wouldn't budge. I'm afraid I'll break the porcelain.

At least I still have one functioning toilet.

    I'm done with toilets.

Yeah. I'm pretty handy around the house but plumbing has always been a challenge for me.

You'll get over that before you know it. Lots of people say San Diego has the best burritos. No, they're just different. I've lived 6 years without them.

    Not here.... (o_O)

Oh hell no. When I need a fastener and have a good idea I'll need more than a few, I buy a box and leave them in that box and it goes on the shelf. If I remove a fastener from something and it's not going back on, it goes in the trash. Life is too short to go digging through coffee cans for 1 fastener.

Same here. Give me a wood problem, a paint problem, a metal problem, an engine problem or whatever problem except a plumbing problem. I can never get it fixed the first go round.

Busy day today with the mistress (sailboat in the garage). Prepped the hull and keel, then applied 2 coats of epoxy primer. I need one more coat of primer followed by 2 coats of bottom paint. Soon she'll be ready to flip over right side up and get it back on the trailer.

In other news, yesterday, my 18 year old daughter came home with a.....

    Tattoo. :annoyed:
