For the head unit you bought did the plugs work on your 2015 without any issues?

I was having some issues, but it turns out my amp just gave out. So now I have the headunit powering the speakers directly and it sounds good.

If you have the Dasaita unit then you will just download the most recent MCU file, put it on a USB, and then select it when you go to MCU update on the unit.

For the system file its the same process. Just be aware you may loose the AGAMA launcher.

How do I know which file is the correct one? And so far I'm not a fan of the current launcher so I'd like to put in a different one. Also having an issue with mirror link where the radio states "currently does not support the Operation of car display"

If you have the Dasaita unit then the current MCU is version 3.30. The Android system update for the Dasaita is the MAX6 PX6.

They will need to be extracted and put on the root of whatever USB stick you are using.

Regarding mirror link I know there are limitations for control depending on USB vs wireless and Android vs Apple. I only used it briefly on this unit to confirm it worked.

so from this link https://forum.xda-developers.com/an...asaita-mcu-updates-rockchip-px5-octa-t3575155 i should be downloading this (MAX6 Version : PX6 HA2_rk3399_9.0(20190726) https://www.sendspace.com/pro/dl/pfbgl1) and this (V3.30 https://www.sendspace.com/pro/dl/ht4mbi) , of course the site you download from is a pain in the butt. I've never really done anything that wasn't an over the air update with an android device though I would never see myself with an Iphone.

Yeah those are correct. And yeah the download links are terrible. I have decent internet and the link still took around 2 hours for the Android update download.

No I didn't create an account but you have to leave all the windows open while it downloads. I read through a lot of that thread and it seems like the host website is just $hit. There were plenty of people mentioning that.

officially updated the unit and nothing looks different. also figured out the mirror link issues, have to enable usb debugging and everything works though for some reason my movies anywhere app doesn't show the video anywhere besides the phone. might try to download it to the radio later. next is uploading my music library. And i accidentally hit eject the memory card, so ill need to take it apart and reinsert it. Still thinking about a new launcher but it seems to be doing everything i want so not sure I want to mess with it lol

Good to know thats how the mirror link works if anyone else needs to use it.

Yeah the updates didn't have any new features it's more about bug fixes. Always good to have the most up to date files.

My Dasaita unit is set to come in on Saturday, I'm really excited, the install pics look SUPER clean. Travis, you said that you needed to trim the mounting screws so they wouldn't short out the board. Were these screws the OEM screws or the ones that came with your aftermarket head unit?

Well I ended up accepting the 20 dollar refund, I wasn't getting anywhere with the bezel. Guess this means the magic number is 395. I've only had one issue so far. I had put my music library on the GPS memory card and it works for a bit then suddenly says it can't be played when using googles play music. Their so would okay it but it doesn't read the file names in a manner that allows you to sorryt by genre, artist, etc. Moved the music to the main unit last night and all seems well so far

These were the screws that came with the aftermarket unit I had installed previously. Mine may have been a fluke with the position of the holes relative to the components on the board as well. Just test it before you put everything together. Mine kept popping fuses and that's what made me open the case of the unit and that's when I saw the issue.

m4 screws are the thread size for the dasaita unit btw. i got the shortest ones i could find. might redo the bracket at some point for now its holding steady and working well
