Stock, except ladder (kayak) rack. Was my daily driver for 7 years. Now I use it to "mow" the yard with this drag, go fishing, home depot, and desert trails.

She's rusty and crusty but still starts up and runs smooth as new. I do oil changes, tranny and diff services. I've replaced leaf springs, coilovers, belts, etc. Great little trucks!20190817_184515.jpg 20190817_184701.jpg

Awesome. Some would say that the 1st gen RCs were actually the last of the real Toyota trucks

Hi Mike, yes truck is running great except I'm always getting windshield chips. Had 3 repaired now took one too close to edge so it cracked. Will need a new windshield at some point. Hope life is good for you :)

I would like to agree, but I have no experience with the newer ones. I love the look of 2nd gen regular cabs also.

Take away the carpet and cloth interior and it would by my perfect truck.

You’re probably right, but a 2.7L with a manual is as close as a modern truck can get. I had a ‘94 pickup with a 22-Re for a long time. My dad still has his ‘95 pickup(not 95.5 Taco) and it has fewer miles than my 2010.

I wonder how hard it would be to stick a supercharged 20r in a 2nd gen Taco if the 2.7L ever dies. I have a nostalgic distaste for electronics, but at 6’3” and mostly torso I never fit all that well in the earlier trucks and I have equal distaste for V shaped engines and less than 130hp.

Mine is still stock. I'm enjoying the way it is. It's a Tacoma. It'll last for a long time so I have plenty of time to build it up.

No suspension upgrades. Did the EGCS bushing when I had a lift. Going to vinyl wrap it hopefully in a few weeks.

Mine is pretty much all stock aside from a plate bumper on the rear and a RCI skid, that upgrade was from a rear end accident! Ive had it for the past 6 years and plan on finally putting a lift on it in the next couple months! I really do enjoy the way it rides on pavement though! I do about 98% of all my maintenance my self, brakes, U-joints, carrier bearing, wheel bearings, oil changes etc. Havent decided if im going to have the lift installed or do it my self though!

Yep! I enjoy doing my own maintenance as well. Gives me a chance to check other things while l under there. Catch things before they get worse.
